Started of  with digital  sculpt based on couple Aris kolokontes  Creature Art,its still work in progress in terms of surface detailing ,I still need to refine  some areas , Heres the progress till now.I am using zbrush 4 for these sculpts,will upload more pics as i start  texturing.

One of my personal  favourite creature from the Hellboy is the toothfairy  ,not only the Look development  part but it was  animated also quite well,so heres my version of the toothfairy,i went for a different look in terms of texturing and shading with more colourful tones,as compared to the one in the movie.I hope you like  it.

Another personal study i took to improve on my lighting and  rendering skills  which will help me in my future character works. main focus here was  to generate a mood with my portrait renders.I rendered out lots of passes in Mentalray to get the desired look,i spend quite a lot of time working on it,but i guess it was worth.

I guess this is my first rendered  character that i did in Maya few years back,it was fun working on it and i learned quite a lot during the whole  process of modeling to final compositing.all the stuff is rendered in Mentalray and composited in photoshop.

One good place where i will be posting any  of my new  miscellaneous  sculpts  here,wont be taking them too much further ,will try to just do a quick texture work or some polypaint.

My take on Gollum,but  guess i  grinch was also somewhere lurking in my mind  while i was sculpting it . i used  lot of custom  alphas and manual sculpting to do the surface detailing. .Share

This Digital Sculpt  is based on Jordu Schells Design ,i have sculpted it  in Mudbox,It was great sculpting this one  in pose and assymetry ,personally i think i havent given full justice to the original design .it could have been better ,but i have moved on from the sculpting stage i have started painting rough color maps for him,though everything is under progress for a long time,i hope to put some update on this one soon. .Share

A self portrait i did in mudbox ,but wont be taking it any further for texturing,as its quite bugging to look at your own face for a longtime .its done. base mesh for this is available in the downloads section,i hope its of some use for everyone doing head  sculpts.
